I am trying to change the colour of a stick to white but instead of turning out white it is turning out gray colour once i change the option to hue or colour (I have to change to hue or colour so the texture looks matched). Attached is a screenshot. The left side sticks is the source colour/object i am selecting the dropper from after clicking.
